Summer Temporary Staff for Combined Service in Västerås

For the summer of 2026, we are looking for service staff for our operations within Combined Service. As a summer temp, you will become an important part of a significant operation where you help make a difference.

The Combined Service operation is organizationally placed in the Property and Service Administration. The operation works with service to healthcare and is responsible for cleaning, departmental kitchens, and patient-related services within the region. The aim is, among other things, to support healthcare staff so they have more time for patients.

Job Description

We are looking for temporary staff for our four areas of work within Combined Service in Västerås. You have the opportunity to express interest in all workplaces. The tasks will vary slightly depending on which workplace you will be working at. You will receive an individually tailored introduction.

Here you can read brief information about the different workplaces and the tasks included:

• Patient-related service (cleaning and catering)
• Cleaning (hospital cleaning and external cleaning, health centers, etc.)
• Transport service (B driver's license required, cleaning tasks may be added)

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are 18 years and older. A completed and approved high school education is a requirement. Experience in service work is an advantage. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and good computer skills. As the work can sometimes be physically demanding, we expect you to be physically fit.

As a person, you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and responsible. You enjoy working in a customer-facing role where good interaction, collaboration, and good relationships are important.

For work in transport or external cleaning, a B driver's license is required.

We are looking for someone who can work from June to August 2026, with a possible extension into the fall.

Employment Conditions

Hourly employment. Day, evening, and weekend work may occur within our units.

The recruitment period runs from December to March. Feedback on whether you are offered a job for the summer will be given in February to April.
